Dr. Elba Pacheco is a specialist in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive surgery and has been Board Certified since 1991.
Dr. Pacheco specializes in the cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the eyelids, brows, eye muscles and eye sockets, as well as in the non-surgical rejuvenation of the face. She uses the latest in laser and non-laser techniques available to achieve superior cosmetic and functional results. She has limited her practice to her subspecialties since the completion of her training in 1991.
Between 1991 and 1999, Dr. Pacheco served as a full-time faculty member in the Oculoplastic Service at The Wilmer Eye Institute. She still serves on the part-time faculty today, while directing the Center for Eye & Laser Surgery.

1991- Completed fellowship in Oculoplastic and Reconstructive surgery at The Wilmer Eye Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.1990- Completed fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus also at The Wilmer Institute1989- Completed residency in Ophthalmology at The Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Fl. 1985- Graduated medical school at The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Columbia University in New York.1981- BA Molecular Biology from Wellesley College in Wellesley, Ma.Dr. Pacheco lived in her native island of Puerto Rico until 1977 when, following High School graduation from Sacred Heart School, she left to pursue her studies in the mainland. The school recently honored her with the "Distinguished Alumnus Award in Medicine".
